Easy Peach White Wine Sangria Recipe

Summer parties, get-togethers, barbeques, pool parties, and friends-dropping-by-spur-of-the-moment-parties are what warm weather is all about.

And warmer weather means you better hydrate. With booze.

This white peach sangria goes down so easily.

I love mangoes and pineapple, and they taste especially good after they’ve marinated with peach schnapps and a bottle of wine.

It’s a great way to stretch a bottle of wine and get some vitamin C into your diet, you know, from the chunks of fruit in each glass.

White Peach Sangria Ingredients

This is such a quick and easy white sangria to prepare. I use canned or frozen fruit when I’m in a rush to make the prep work even simpler!

Gather the following ingredients to make white peach sangria:

  • White wine
  • Peach schnapps
  • Mango (fresh or frozen)
  • Pineapple chunks (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • Pineapple juice
  • Simple syrup (optional)

How to Make White Peach Sangria

This is the easiest white wine sangria to make! Here are the basic steps to making peach sangria with white wine:

  1. Dump everything into one big bowl or pitcher, stir and wait. The longer you wait, the better, but if you’re in a hurry and can’t wait and want to enjoy immediately, I understand and that’s just fine, too.
  2. Refrigerate sangria until chilled, then serve.

Can this sangria recipe be doubled?

Of course! I kept this recipe on the smaller scale in case you’re having a smaller party. Or in case you’re having a party for yourself for you and one other person on a Tuesday night.

It’s just one bottle of wine, not gallons worth like many sangria recipes. But you can always double, triple, etc. it. Easy peasy and so refreshing.

What’s the best white wine for sangria?

You’ll want to use a chardonnay, pinot grigio, or sauvignon blanc for this recipe. Use any bottle you like, the brand doesn’t matter!

can white sangria be made in advance?

Absolutely! Sangria gets better 8 to 24 hours later, in my opinion. You can (and should) make this a day ahead of time for a party or event if time and planning permits.

How long does white wine sangria last?

I have successfully stored leftover sangria in my refrigerator for up to one week.

Should sangria be refrigerated?

Yes! It’s fine to leave white peach sangria out on the counter for a few hours, but if there are leftovers they must be refrigerated. Otherwise the fruit in the sangria will go bad!

What Liquors go with white sangria?

I made this peach white sangria using peach schnapps, but you may use other liquors such as Midori, Hptoniq, Gran Marnier, Chambord, lemon/lime/peach-flavored vodka, Malibu, etc.

White Peach Sangria

Fresh, fruity, just sweet enough but not too sweet, and it goes down so easily. A lighter alternative to red sangria that everyone just loves!

Ingredients  

  • 1 bottle white wine, chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or similar
  • cup peach schnapps
  • ¾ cup mango chunks, frozen (you could use fresh but save money and buy frozen, plus they act as “ice cubes”)
  • ¾ cup pineapple chunks, canned or fresh
  • ½ cup pineapple juice, from the can of pineapple if you used canned is okay
  • ¼ cup simple syrup, optional and to taste

Instructions 

  • To a large pitcher or punch bowl, add all ingredients except simple syrup, stir, and taste.
  • If you prefer the sangria slightly sweeter add the simple syrup. To make it, add 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup water to a small kettle and heat over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, cool slightly before adding it to the sangria.
  • Refrigerate sangria until chilled, then serve.

Notes

Storage: I have successfully stored leftover sangria in my refrigerator for up to one week; your mileage may vary. Flavors marry and mellow as time elapses. Sangria gets better 8 to 24 hours later in my opinion. You can (and should) make this a day ahead of time for a party or event if time and planning permits.
Tip – Recipe is highly flexible; use whatever frozen or fresh fruit you have on hand; berries, oranges, nectarines, peaches, etc. Use other liquors rather than peach schnapps such as Midori, Hyptoniq, Gran Marnier, Chambord, lemon/lime/peach flavored vodka, Malibu, etc.

  3. This is perfect timing. I am making my normal red wine sangria for my SIL’s wedding shower in a couple weeks, but not everyone loves red wine. I’m so making this is a second option!

    I am also drinking a mango-peach-banana-strawberry smoothie right now. Its getting to be summer fruit time!

    1. For a springtime shower, this is perfect! In fact, that’s the exact type of gathering I had in mind when I was coming up with this!! Please LMK how it goes over and yes, red wine isn’t for everyone, especially during the daytime. This is so much lighter and smoother. Goes down a little too easy :)

  4. Averie- this looks delish!! I’ve made a similiar sangria before… white wine, pineapple juice, pineapple chunks, frozen peaches, + peach sparkling water. Yes, water. it’s seriously SO SO good. Mango have to give yours a whirl… since i ADORE mango!

    1. Happy effects are a huge part of it..I mean, I don’t like the taste of wine enough that I would ever buy non-alcoholic wine, just to drink it, so I can drink it for the taste alone. It’s a hand-in-hand, taste + effects, beverage :)

  9. I am not a fan of red wine sangria (even though I prefer red wine to red), but I do like white wine sangria, and this sounds and looks INCREDIBLE! I will be making this sometime this summer – preferably sooner than later.

    1. Red in sangria is a little strong sometimes, it tends to overpower the fruit. This is light and perfect. I know you love mangoes and I think this will be a hit with you. LMK if you end up making it!
